The following can be used as a guide to what additional Service Charges may apply.


These rates and examples are indicative only and will vary depending on actual usage. As these services are provided by external parties the rates may also change at any time without notice.


Max Usage Charges
Your Max package has two separate usage areas: SMS usage in AUD and standard platform usage in USD. These are separate billing areas. Any credits do not transfer between them. Unused Credits expire at the end of every month and do not accumulate.
SMS Usage Charges — Separate AUD Billing
SMS is provided through a separate SMS system and is billed in AUD. It is not part of the standard platform usage credit or standard platform wallet billing.

Your Max package includes a separate $5.00 AUD monthly SMS credit.

The monthly SMS number is included at $0.00, so the SMS credit is available to be used toward SMS units. It is designed to assist in the general SMS usage of a typical business and is not intended for bulk SMS campaigns.

This credit includes both the SMS number and SMS units. If SMS usage exceeds the monthly SMS credit, further SMS usage is billed separately from the standard platform usage billing.

What is an SMS unit?
An SMS unit is one SMS segment. For standard text messages, one SMS unit is up to 160 characters, including spaces. If the message is longer than 160 characters, it is split into multiple SMS units. Longer standard messages are usually counted in blocks of 153 characters per unit because a small part of each segment is used to join the message back together.

Special characters, emojis, some symbols, smart quotes, or non-English characters can reduce the SMS unit size. In those cases, one SMS unit may be as low as 70 characters, or 67 characters per unit for longer messages.

Standard Platform Usage Charges — Separate USD Billing
Your Max package includes a $30.00 USD monthly platform usage credit. This credit is applied toward eligible platform usage-based services such as Voice AI usage, call minutes, email notifications, call recording, recording storage, email verification, workflow premium actions and other usage-based services where applicable.

The monthly platform credit expires at the end of the month if it is not used. Once the monthly platform credit has been used, further platform usage will be billed from an agreed wallet amount. This wallet balance does not expire and will stay in your wallet until needed.

Voice AI usage is monitored. If usage increases materially, we will review the available options with you before making changes.

Usage charges in this section are in USD. Phone call charges are billed in full-minute increments, so partial minutes may be rounded up to the next whole minute.

Charge Usage-based. Voice AI usage varies depending on call duration, voice/TTS provider, AI model and token usage. Applicable phone-system charges also apply to phone calls.

We recommend having Call Transcription active during the onboarding and setup phase so recordings and transcripts can be reviewed and checked. Once setup is complete and the AI is operating as expected, this feature can be turned off to reduce ongoing usage charges.
